Do you take insurance or provide superbills?

No: My decision to not accept insurance is with YOU in mind.  Insurance companies require you have a mental health diagnosis on your record, as well as dictates the length of therapy.  Not everyone who attends therapy has a mental illness or benefits from a limited number of sessions dictated by a 3rd party. Insurance companies have access to your sessions and reviews them to ensure that your session is focused only on your “mental illness.”

How does private pay benefit me?

Therapy is an investment in your psychological wellness.  Private pay ensures YOU and your therapist decide your care, not the insurance company.  You will not have to be labeled with a diagnosis that is sometimes unnecessary.  The focus remains on YOU and your treatment goals.

What types of payment do you accept?

Cash, credit/debit cards.  All credit/debit cards are processed through a HIPPA compliant patient portal.

What are virtual psychotherapy sessions?

Virtual therapy is a convenient way to connect with your therapist via online platforms such as video chat, email, phone, text messaging, or email. We use HIPPA compliant platforms for virtual therapy sessions and text, phone, and email communications.

Virtual therapy is equally effective as in-person therapy for treating mental health needs.

What days and times are you available?

Virtual session day/times vary and can be discussed at the initial consultation.
